Cobolt is a comic book publisher operating in Denmark and Sweden.
The publisher was founded in 2008 by Kurt Dahlgaard in Copenhagen after the two largest comic book publishers Egmont and Carlsen merged. The EU competition authority there saw too much market power and forced the sale of the album rights and the new publisher was founded. Carsten Søndergaard, who previously worked at Interpresse and Carlsen, became publisher.
At last it is possible to reissue the most sought-after and beloved comic strip about the dear little man with the magic knapsack. And that in a restored, re-colored and newly translated edition. Besides the series' homeland, the Netherlands, Denmark is the most popular country in the world for Gammelpot, where generations have worn out the original 23 issues since 1977. Now the entire series has been re-released in a sturdy, hardcover deluxe edition with an eight-page illustrated foreword in each volume about how the series came to be.
Cobolt has made a number of changes:
album 5: "Tågesømonstret" changed to "Uhyret fra Tågesøen." It means the same thing, but is much more fairy tale-like. And "Tågesømonstret" is a very difficult word to read off your readers.
album 8: "Vejen til Syden" changed to "Havet til Syden" because the Dutch titles should be understood as, "The sea to the south," not "The road to the south." So the first Danish title was not a correct translation.
album 9: "Falkensteen" changed to "Falkensten" because this is much more the Danish spelling of such a castle name.
Furthermore, all "og" had been omitted. All the original side notes were in full "Gammelpot and [actual title]." Now they are actual titles, and with Gammelpot as the series name.
Also, some proper names in the titles are now capitalized, as this is more correct.

It was a provisional cover titled "Tågesømonstret" which was changed to "Uhyret fra Tågesøen" for the latest edition.
It means the same thing because "uhyre" is the same as "monster", but "uhyre" is more fairy tale-like and easier for children to read.
