Williams Forlag and Forlaget Illustrerede Klassikere have published a large number of comics over the years, including Illustrated Classics 1955-1977, the Adventure Series 1957-1967, Buffalo Bill 1970-1972, and several French-Belgian comics such as Dr. Pind, and Gammelpot in the 1970s and 1980s.
The publisher was also responsible for Danish editions of Marvel in the early 1970s, including Dæmonen, Edderkoppen and others, as well as DC Comics' Batman 1969-1974 and Superman 1969-1978, to name a few.
Because the publisher did not always adhere to the continuity of American superhero comics, new readers could have trouble grasping the plot. It was not until the later publication by Interpresse, edited by Morten Søndergård, that continuity was settled.
