- What does the word "Zonadjadoel" mean?
Vintage zone, or Past Time zone. For us Indonesians, who are older, this forum is a kind of online library, where we can share reading material from our Indonesian childhood, TV programs, songs, etc.
- How can you participate in Zonadjadoel? To do what? How many members?
One must sign up, and then wait for moderator approval. One must contribute his old book scans, or scanlations of old comics, which have never been translated into Indonesian. One must also comment or review until all conditions are met. Finally, one can download contributions from other members. Zonadjadoel uses Bahasa Indonesia as its language, and all ebooks/comics must be in Bahasa or translated into Bahasa. The number of members is currently 50+.
- The Pak Janggut translations are not intended for business sales, correct?
In each eBook, Zonadjadoel adds a watermark: "hanya untuk koleksi pribadi" (for personal collection only), which means, members can get them for free, for their own collection, to remember their reading material from their childhood, but they cannot sell them or make a profit from them.
