At the time the flyer had to go to the printer, the final front cover of the Douwe album was not yet drawn or still in the works. Often we then used so-called "emergency covers. See below The Black Kimono.......This also happened in the Oberon or GP leaflets. Was just put together by the designer who made the leaflet.... Especially the 'Donald duck as...' series had many such makeshift presentation solutions.
A few years ago, Publisher L was still searching for a new house style for the reissues....... At that time, "announcements" appeared on the Internet with a cover that was not yet final, including the first designs by Rudy Vrooman.
Nice to see some old cover designs of these. So an album in this form does not exist at all.
