Sjors en Sjimmie Stripblad / SjoSji

In 1988 the name of the magazine was changed again, this time to Sjors & Sjimmie Stripblad. Under this name, the comic of the same name was given a more prominent role than ever before and was now produced by a drawing studio in Spain, but under the supervision of Robert van der Kroft. The frequency of appearance of the strip magazine was reduced to once every two weeks, however. In 1994 the name was shortened to SjoSji.

A magazine was also published at that time entitled Sjors en Sjimmie Stripblad Extra/Sjosji Extra containing old comics that used to appear in the Pep and the Eppo. The magazine was in stores when there was no regular issue of the magazine.
